The Tyler Buck Strong Foundation provides financial support and newly diagnosed patients care baskets upon admission.

Since we have formed the foundation we have helped out numerous families with car payments, electricity, water and gas bills, that are usually past due because these families are struggling with only having a one person income for their household because most parents have to have the other to care for the child that is currently seeking cancer treatment.

We primarily are helping our local hospital, Arkansas Children’s Hospital with the baskets of love and bills for these families. We also have brought 8 dozen cup cakes to the unit and we have also fed the unit with Olive Garden both Alfredo and red sauce, they were very appreciative of that.

For the past 2 years we have adopted a family and bought Christmas for the child in treatment and their siblings.

We work closely with the hematology/Oncology Social Workers at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, they will fill out an application for financial assistance and submit the bill with the application to the foundation, we then will vote on paying the bill and in how much. We usually will pay the full amount, if the foundation has the funds.
